Pride Logistics LLC and its UK subsidiary Pride Global Logistics Ltd move air, ocean and ground freight across six continents: own offices in Los Angeles and London, contracted partner offices in every major trade lane, and the capacity of the Landstar network behind every US move. One platform, one file, one point of accountability from origin to delivery.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Pride Logistics LLC, Valencia · Founder, Pride Global Logistics Ltd, London
Jose Sherman leads the group as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pride Logistics LLC and is the founder of Pride Global Logistics Ltd, the UK company. He sets the strategy, owns the customer relationships that matter most, and holds the operation to a single standard: every shipment has a name on it and that name is accountable.
He came to logistics from the other side of the dock. Before Pride he worked for the shippers, in aerospace, medical, retail and manufacturing, buying freight, living with the late deliveries and chasing the carriers. He brought that experience into the business: a customer's expectations, a customer's perspective, and a customer's definition of done, applied to every file Pride handles.
Under his leadership Pride has grown from a Southern California ground carrier agency into an international forwarder with its own air and ocean desk at Los Angeles, a contracted partner network spanning Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Australasia, Pride's first own equipment on the road in Los Angeles from October 2025, and, in 2026, a wholly owned UK company in London clearing customs under its own registration.
He directed the build of Pride One, the group's proprietary operating platform, which runs quoting, booking, customs files, tracking and accounting for both companies on a single system in real time, and he chairs the follow-the-sun handover between the Valencia and London desks so a customer's file is worked around the clock.
Jose is an independent agent of Landstar System, a Fortune 500 transportation company, which gives Pride's customers access to one of the largest vetted capacity networks in North America with Pride's own management in front of it.
Pride Logistics LLC in Valencia, California runs the Americas, the Pacific and the group's air and ocean gateway at LAX. Pride Global Logistics Ltd in London runs the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Both sit on Pride One, so a booking taken on either side of the Atlantic is visible to both desks the moment it exists.
Pride Logistics LLC was formed in California in 2010 and built as an independent agency of Landstar on a simple idea: shippers whose freight cannot fail, semiconductor tools, medical equipment, touring productions, aerospace parts, are not looking for a broker or a call center. They want one company that takes responsibility for the whole move and has the capacity to deliver it. Landstar's network supplies the capacity. Pride supplies the accountability.
The business grew with its customers. As their freight went international, Pride opened an air and ocean desk at Los Angeles, built a contracted partner network at origin and destination in the major trade lanes, and became the single point of contact for moves that used to involve three or four companies.
In October 2025 Pride put its first own equipment on the road: a Pride-liveried 26 ft liftgate box truck based in Los Angeles, running local pickups, deliveries and airport transfers for the LAX desk under Pride's own control. The Landstar network still carries the long haul. The first and last mile in Los Angeles is now Pride's own.
The last handoff left was at the water. A US forwarder handing a shipment to a UK agent, or the reverse, was the point where files got rekeyed, questions got lost and customers explained the job twice. In 2026 Pride removed it: Pride Global Logistics Ltd was incorporated in London as a wholly owned subsidiary, staffed with Pride's own people. Transatlantic freight now moves on one file, under one management, at both ends.
To run two companies as one operation, Pride built its own platform. Pride One handles quoting, booking, customs documentation, tracking and accounting for both entities in real time, with every carrier vetted before it touches a load and every shipment monitored until the proof of delivery is on the file.
That is the company today: a freight forwarding group headquartered in California, operating in the US and the UK, reaching six continents through offices and partners that work to Pride's instructions, and run by people who used to be the customer.
Since October 2025 a Pride-liveried 26 ft liftgate box truck has run the Los Angeles first and last mile: dock pickups, residential and jobsite deliveries with liftgate, airport and container-yard transfers for the LAX desk, and same-day recoveries when a customer's schedule moves. Our driver, our equipment, our dispatch, tracked in Pride One like every other move.
Long haul, expedite and nationwide capacity continue to run on the Landstar network, with Pride managing the file.
